Our CEO, Adrian Shackleton – MEngSc(UNSW), GAICD Shackleton presented two National Awards:

Congratulations to South Australian apprentice, Michael Loprete from Shield Fire Systems, who won the The Lou Maglio Gold Medal for Australian Apprentice of the Year.

 

The Excellence in Fire Protection Award was awarded to Mark Buckley, from Contract Fire. Mark is a long-standing NFIA Member and has been a part of the Fire Protection industry for 47 years and has done extensive work on the Royal Children’s Hospital, Monash Children’s Hospital, Joan Kirner Women & Children’s Hospital, Victorian Heart Hospital, Royal Melbourne Hospital upgrades, ‘Pathways’ Mental Health Hospitals, and now the Footscray Hospital.
